Corsicana — Navarro College President Dr. Richard Sanchez said Friday that an arrest has been made in connection with a bomb threat that shut the college down Thursday.
An annonymous caller phoned in the bomb threat Wednesday, saying that a bomb would detonate on the college campus on Thursday.
Sanchez ordered the college closed Wednesday night and all day Thursday while police and sheriff's deputies searched the campus. No explosive device was found.
Sanchez said the suspect apparently was having difficulty trying to register at the college, prompting his actions.
As more is learned about this story, we'll post it this weekend.
