Corsicana — The Young People Committee at Kinsloe House will present an interesting and informative program on the “Quilts of Valor.” Clara Hickerson is the chairperson for the committee. Her committee members are Cindy Erwin, Barbara Watkins, Martha McCarter, Holly Gibson, Kay Hicks, and Jenna Hall. The Quilts of Valor will eventually be mailed to our Veterans Hospitals in America and Europe after a Quilt show honoring our Veterans on Feb. 9, 2013 in Ben Wheeler. There will be quilts on display at the program that have been made by the Piecemaker Quilt Guild in Corsicana as well as the Nacogdoches Quilt Guild.
