The Dawson Lion’s Club will host a Neighborhood Crime Watch program at the Dawson park across from the Volunteer Fire Department on Main Street at 7 p.m. Local law enforcement officials will be present to answer your questions and pass on warnings and advice to keep you and your property safe. Bring yourself a picnic snack or purchase a Lion’s Club cold drink and hotdog off the grill for the kids, bring a chair and come on out. Angels of Corsicana Troop Support will be holding its monthly troop packing at 9 a.m. at 1020 North Business 45. Please bring any military addresses of those serving in harm’s way to the packing. Navarro County Genealogical Society will hold its quarterly meeting at 10 a.m. in the Nancy Roberts Community Meeting Room at the Corsicana Public Library. Ed Williams will be speaking on “Collecting Corsicana.” The public is invited to attend. There is no charge.
Emhouse 4-H Fundraiser will be a vet clinic held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Emhouse Community Center. Please bring your dogs, cats, and horses to this fundraiser for Emhouse 4-H. Prices are very reasonable. For more information call (903) 354-6775.
