The Corsicana Children's Co. class at the Warehouse Living Arts Center forGrades K-1-2 begins 4:30-5:30 p.m. for an eight-week session. “PLAY & PRETEND”

We will take a look at classic nursery rhymes and turn them on their heads, adding quirky twists to old familiar favorites. No experience necessary! Class size is limited. Call (903) 872-5421 to register. Instructor is C. David Hill. The WLAC is located at 119 W Sixth Avenue in downtown Corsicana.

Sept. 17

Jose Antonio Chapter, Daughters of the Republic of Texas, will meet at 2 p.m. at 416 W. Third Ave., Corsicana.

The Corsicana Children's Co. class at the Warehouse Living Arts Center for Grades third through fifth begins Tuesday 4:30-5:45 pm for an eight-week session.

“COSTUMES! SPOTLIGHT! MAGIC!” It's time to bring out the costumes, make-up and props and start rehearsing for a show or two. We will be taking a look at folk tales from around the world. We'll take a look at Aesop's Fables and other childhood classics and even build masks for the fables. No experience necessary! Class size is limited. Call (903) 872-5421 to register. Instructor is C. Sept. 18

James Blair Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, will sponsor the United States Constitution Luncheon at 12 noon at the Kinsloe House. Program chairman Suzanne Smith has announced that Chatfield native Robert Jones will be the speaker for the special event. The Thomas Meredith Chapter, Colonial Dames XVII Century, will attend the special United States Constitution Luncheon.

Sept. 19

The Corsicana Children's Co. class at the Warehouse Living Arts Center for Grades six through 12 begins 4:30 to 6 p.m. for an eight week session. “THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT!” Work on your improv skills, joke-telling and character building. And if this is all new to you that's okay, too. We will help you out with all you need to know about acting. No experience necessary! Class size is limited. Call (903) 872-5421 to register.
