Corsicana — Eureka Crime Watch will hold its regular monthly meeting at the Eureka United Methodist Church at 1:30 p.m. Special guest will be Brian Srba with Texas Parks and Wildlife. Join your friends and neighbors for this educational meeting. Refreshments will be served.

Fish Fry to be held at the Benedictine Monastery of Thien Tam (Heavenly Heart) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The monastery is located at 13055 SE County Road 4271 Kerens, TX 75144, located off Hwy 287 and Monastery Way. Bark for Life (sponsored by the American Cancer Society) will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bunert Park, 201 Bunert Park Road. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., $10 per dog. It is a non-competitve walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer. Also at Bunert Park during Bark for Life will be a CASI-qualifying chili cookoff event, and a Car Show sponsored by The Cars of Navarro County.
When Are We Going Home Ministry and Break N Free Camp presents the Riding High Horsemanship Program to be held at 4719 NE CR 1040 in Rice. Call for directions and to RSVP to (903) 422-6120 (to get an accurate count). This event is free and open to all medically challenged, special needs and disabled children and foster children and their immediate siblings up to the age of 21. Lunch will be provided, just bring lawn chairs, yourself and your family. A handicapped ramp is available, as well as side/front walkers, and a playground. The event will include riding, saddling, safety, feeding and care of horses, and a short devotion.
