Corsicana — The American Legion Auxiliary will host an Easter Egg Party and Hunt from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for children ages 2 through 12. With the children separated into age groups, a coloring contest will begin at 10 a.m., the Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. and hot dogs will be served at 12 noon. Prizes will be awarded for each category. Sorry, parents, but you can’t help your youngsters find Easter Eggs. All children are invited, and there’s guaranteed fun for all.
Pickett Riding Club is ready to ride. Want some great family friendly fun for the whole crew? Come out to the Streetman arena on FM 416 and join us. Show starts at 11 a.m. Events are Cloverleaf Barrels, Straightaway Barrels, Poles, Speed, Flag, Potato and Keyhole. Exhibitions are $3, events are $5, and there is a $25 membership per family if you would like to join Pickett Riding Club. Age groups will be 6 and under, 7-9, 10-12, 13-17, and 18 and over. Cars of Navarro County will hold a car show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the new Exxon Tiger Tote on W. Seventh Ave. “Tribute to our Heroes” will donate 100 percent of all proceeds to the Wounded Warrior Project. There is a $15 entry fee for cars, bikes, trucks, 4x4s, project vehicles, hot rods, muscle cars, rat rodes, etc.
Relay for Life team Sugar Rush for a Cure will hold a bake sale at Super One Foods, 100 N. 15th St., beginning at 10 a.m. Get your Easter desserts early before they run out.
The Navarro County A&M Club will assemble for its annual Texas Aggie Muster beginning at 6 p.m. At the Cook Center. All former and current students, their families, and friends of Texas A&M University are invited. Guest speaker for the event will be the Hon.
