The 10th Annual VOICE Spring Night Out will be held at 5:45 p.m. at The Cook Center. This event takes the place of the annual spring luncheon to celebrate the 10th year. Guests will be entertained by Suzie Humphreys and will selection of evening meal choices. Tables are $410 for 6 guests or individual tickets are $50. Corsicana Newcomers' Club will host Jean O'Connor of Angels of Corsicana at the monthly meeting at the Kinsloe House at 11 a.m. Jean will share with us all the wonderful outreach and support this group has shown our troops for the past 10 years. Eureka Crime Watch will hold its annual community picnic at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 22 on the grounds of Eureka United Methodist Church. Meat, bread and drinks will be furnished as well as plates and eating utensils. Please bring a covered dish and/or a dessert with serving utensils and your lawn chairs. The public is invited, so gather up your family and enjoy this wonderful evening of fellowship and good food.
KESA will host its annual Fish Fry fundraiser for the Kerens Veterans Memorial from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the KESA building, with an auction starting at 1 p.m. The auction has numerous great items. Also in conjunction with the Fish Fry will be a car show in downtown Kerens called the Red Brick Classic. All proceeds will go toward the Kerens Veterans Memorial Fund. The car show will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a $15 entry fee. Registration ends at 1 p.m. There will be a prize for the best 50’s/60’s dressed couple.
