A Senior Sock Hop will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Cook Center. This is a free event for any seniors 50 and up and a chaperone. Corsicana Swing Orchestra will play hits from the 50s and 60s. There will be refreshments and a costume contest, so break out the leather jackets and poodle skirts. There will be door prizes, also. You must have a ticket since seating is limited. Pickett Riding Club is ready to ride. Want some great family friendly fun for the whole crew? Come out to the Streetman arena on FM 416 and join us. Show starts at 11 a.m. Events are Cloverleaf Barrels, Straightaway Barrels, Poles, Speed, Flag, Potato and Keyhole. Exhibitions are $3, events are $5, and there is a $25 membership per family if you would like to join Pickett Riding Club. Age groups will be 6 and under, 7-9, 10-12, 13-17, and 18 and over.
