The Navarro County A&M Club will assemble for its annual Texas Aggie Muster beginning at 6 p.m. At the Cook Center. All former and current students, their families, and friends of Texas A&M University are invited. Guest speaker for the event will be the Hon. The Second Annual Oil Baron’s Ball will be from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at The Corsicana Opry & Event Center at 205 East Fifth Avenue in downtown Corsicana. This unique event will feature fine food, live music by the Phares Corder Orchestra, and dancing. Valet parking will be available to the guests. Attire is “boots & suits” for gentlemen and cocktail attire for ladies. Tickets are $150 per person or tables of 6 for $1,000 (limited seating). The Navarro County Derrick Days Pro Rodeo is scheduled for April 25-26 at the Navarro County Exposition Center. Gates will open at 6 p.m., mutton bustin’ starts at 7 and the rodeo starts at 8.
