Corsicana Parks and Recreation Department presents Biker Bash III/Poker Run with kickstands up at 10 a.m. This 100-miles tri-county ride will begin at the Corsicana Government Center, and end at OT’s Sports Bar and Grill. Registration is 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the gate the day of, or you may pre-register by calling (903) 654-4874. Your registration fee ($20 pre, $25 at the gate) will include the poker hand, T-shirt, lunch, and entry for the bike show and contests. There will be a tattoo contest, bike show, 50/50 drawing and more.
Business Olympics are back at Corsicana Derrick Days with arm wrestling, high heel race, pizza eating contest, and bed race. If your business is interested in competing, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for information packets.
Emhouse School Reunion will be held beginning at 11 a.m. at the Emhouse town center next to the old school building in Emhouse. All ex-students of Emhouse School are invited to attend and visit with old friends and talk of the old days at the school. Please bring a favorite dish and we will share a pot luck meal. Lunch begins at 12 noon and dismiss at 1:30 p.m. Let’s not break our tradition of our annual school reunion which we have done since 1959. Hope to see you there.
