The Oak Valley Crime Watch will next be held Tuesday, May 6th at 6:30 p.m. at our Oak Valley Community Center. Each month we ask you bring your favorite dish and a friend/neighbor. As usual our Sheriff's Deputy will give our monthly crime report. Please come with an open heart and empty stomach. I hope to see you all there, everyone is always welcome.
Oakwood Odyssey, presented by the Navarro County Genealogical Society and Liz Gillespie Genealogy Department, is a walking tour of a section of the old historic Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana. You will be guided by volunteers who will lead you down the path to meet past residents of our city who left their mark on our town, county and state. Tickets are $10 each. The City of Richland will hold an election on Saturday, May 10 at the Civic Center, 103 W. Main, Richland from 7 a.m. To 7 p.m. To elect a Mayor and two council members. Early voting will take place April 28 and May 5 from 7 a.m. To 7 p.m., and April 29 through May 2 from 9 a.m. To 2 p.m.
The Corsicana Emergency Corps., located at 416 South 12th Street in Corsicana, will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting at 7 p.m. The general public is invited to attend.
