City of Corsicana presents “Acoustic Wine Down” in its Second Saturday event series from 4-8 p.m. Activities normally held at Third Ave. and Main St. will be moved to Pocket Park, 118 N. Beaton. Wine tastings will be offered from 4-7 p.m. at the following downtown businesses: Bittersweet Boutique, Canterbury Court, Canterbury Couture, Grave Creek Mercantile, Harvie’s, Luci Blu’s, Merchant’s Antiques, Turquoise Pistol, and The Vintage Farmhouse. The Art Walk (also from 4-7 p.m.) includes the Warehouse Living Arts Center Gallery and “The Gallery” at Downtown Salon and Spa. Enjoy live acoustic music by Curlyhead and also by Three Fools on Three Stools beginning at 6 p.m. at Pocket Park. There will be a free water slide for the kids located behind Pocket Park off Fifth Avenue between Beaton St. and Main St. There will be no outdoor vendors this month.
