Navarro Regional Hospital’s Senior Circle will host a physician lecture in the hospital classrooms from 12 to 1 p.m. Join Dr. Neal Green as he talks on “Beyond 50!” What happens to us after 50 years of age? Emhouse Community Center will have its last meeting until September at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Senior Circle from Navarro Regional Hospital is going to South Fork Ranch. Motor coach will depart the hospital parking lot at 9:30 a.m. We will tour the ranch, eat a barbecue dinner at Miss Ellie’s kitchen, tour the museum and more! The Ninth Annual VOICE Spring Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. at The Cook Center. The VOICE Spring Luncheon is a traditional fundraiser held each year to gain support for VOICE programs and services provided to children and families. This year will feature a red-carpet style theme with a fashion show, a silent auction, and will be emceed by national renowned Joan Rivers impersonator Ellie Weingardt. Sponsorships and tables are now on sale. Contact Gina Dieterichs at (903) 872-0180 for more information.

The Corsicana Newcomers' Club will meet at the Kinsloe House at 11 a.m. Virginia Riddle will be the guest speaker. Call Marge Oslick at (903) 872-3508 for more information and confirmed reservations.

May 24

Mildred Eagle Cheerleaders will host a hamburger basket fundraiser at the Mildred LIttle League games starting at 5:30 p.m. Kono-Ice Sno-Cones, Bounce House, Face & Hair Painting, Cotton Candy  plus many local vendors will be set up to display and sell their items. Each hamburger basket sold will come with a chance to win a prize through out the evening!  Hamburgers/Fries are $5. Many thanks to our local businesses and organizations volunteering their time to make this a successful event.  Donations will help with cheer camp and clinic expenses!  Please contact Jamie Kitchens at (903) 875-9729 or kitchensj@mildredisd.org for information to set up as a vendor.
