Corsicana — Corsicana Newcomers' Club Lunch Bunch will meet at  North Shore Harbor Inn at 11:30 a.m. Call Pat Schroeder at (903) 872-9663 to save a spot at the table for you.

April 12

The Navarro County Retired Teachers Association will meet at 9:45 a.m. at Northwest Apartments Community Center, 1360 Northwest Ave. The speaker for the program will be Dr. Shellie O’Neal, teacher, actress and playwright. All former school employees are invited.

April 13 and 14

A Spring Home and Garden Expo is taking place at the IOOF Event Center, 601 North 45th Street, Corsicana, sponored by Texas AgriLife. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Home and Garden vendors along with landscape design companies, Master Gardner and educational programs will be offered as well. April 13

Crystal Shepherd Benefit Softball Tournament will be held at Lake Halbert Park beginning at 10 a.m. This is a Lake Halbert Softball Association rules tournament. Prizes will be awarded to champions and runners-up, as well as home run derby winners. There will be men’s and co-ed games. Entry fee is $150. There will be food concessions, bounce houses for the kids, a dunking booth, and more activities. Bring the family and come out!

The Second Annual Richland Craft and Vendor Fair will be held at 103 W Main St., Civic Center, Richland from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring the kids to see the Care Flight helicopter. Unlimited face painting for the kid in all of us. Vendors include Tastefully Simple, Thirty One Gifts, Roberta’s Jewelry, A’s Soap Emporium, Jan’tiques and Jewelry, Bling T-Shirts, Velata, It Works!, Hand Crocheted items and bows, Pampered Chef, Advocare, Paparazzi $5 Jewelry and Accessories, Grace Adele, Sweet M’s Sweet Treats, Premiere Designs Jewelry, Betha’s Best (specializing in home canned jams, jellies and more), crocheted children’s items and sandals, Scrubs, Bags, Accessories and more, Marvin’s Snow Cones, Mary Kay, Handmade Diaper Cakes, Scentsy, Handy Man Collectibles, Celebrating Home and Camp Gladiator. Richland Volunteer Fire Department will be serving hot dogs and drinks. Visit every vendor and sign up for a $100 raffle. Proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Fire Department and the Food Pantry.
