The Second Annual Richland Craft and Vendor Fair will be held at 103 W Main St., Civic Center, Richland. Inside space w/table $25; outside covered space w/table $15; outside space no cover or table $10. All vendors also donate two non-perishable food items to the Richland food pantry. A portion of the table rental proceeds will go to the volunteer fire department. All interested vendors should contact Leigh Tidwell (972) 979-9731 or ltidwell74@hotmail.com by March 16 to reserve a space.

April 18

Navarro College Multimedia Department presents Media Fest 2013, to be held at 10 a.m. at the Cook Center Planetarium at Navarro College. This is a great opportunity to see the best work produced by our multimedia students during the last year. There will be photography, drawings, paintings, 3-D, music, and video on display on the planetarium ceiling. Everyone is welcome. Senior Circle Group of Navarro Regional Hospital will travel by motor coach to New Orleans April 22-26.  We still have seats available. Contact Connie Beal at (903) 654-6892 for more information.

When Are We Going Home Ministry and its Spirit Sent Music Ministry will meet at New Beginnings Family Fellowship in Blooming Grove at 6 p.m. This is the night of the Annual Talent Show. You don’t want to miss this event! All events are free and open to children with medical challenges, disabilities and special needs and their immediate siblings. www.whenarewegoinghome.com.

April 25

Mystery Art in Tuckertown is a silent auction and reception featuring local artists. This fundraiser supports the efforts of both the Navarro Council of the Arts and VOICE. “Pillars of our Past, Celebrating the people, places, and events in Navarro County History”  will be the theme this year. Mystery Art in Tuckertown will feature 8 x 10 art work with silent bids starting at $35. The art will be on display at the Warehouse Living Arts Center April 17-26. There will be a reception with food and drinks which will feature the artwork from 5:30 to 7 p.m. April 25 at the Warehouse Living Arts Center, 119 W.  Sixth Ave. Artist’s names will be revealed at the end of the auction. No tickets or reservations required, donations appreciated. Both amateur and professional artists interested in donating artwork should call (903) 872-5411.
