Jan. 13

Divorce Care begins at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 510 W. Collin. Divorce Care is a support group that meets for 13 weeks. The cost is $15 for the workbook and child care is provided. The group is led by people who have been through divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives. This group is led by Chuck McElroy. For more information call the church at (903) 872-7473.

Bobcat Bistro at KESA building in Kerens will begin serving at 11:30 a.m. and continue until 1 p.m. This restaurant-style lunch raises money for the students of Kerens ISD. Reservations are appreciated, but not required. You may dine in or take out. On the menu this Sunday is turkey spaghetti, green beans or carrots, salad, garlic bread, chocolate cake or pumpkin cake, tea and water. Dinners are $8 each. You may also purchase a quart of turkey spaghetti for $8. Children menus include chicken nuggets, one veggie or turkey spaghetti for $4, ages 12 and under. The Republican Party of Navarro County will hold a County Executive Committee meeting at 7 p.m. at the Republican Headquarters at 111-B West Third Avenue in Corsicana. State Republican Executive Committeewoman for Senate District 22, Janet Jackson, will conduct precinct chair training. Elections Administrator Danda Parker will renew Deputy Voter Registrar certificates. A social starts at 6:30 p.m. to salute elected officials, hosted by the Navarro County Republican Women. Woodmen of the World Lodge 5 will have its meeting at 6 p.m. in the Lodge Hall at 200 W. Oak Lawn.  All members, their families and guests are cordially invited.
