The Kerens Ex-Students Association (KESA) will host a Halloween Movie Night for youngsters 12 and under from 6 to 8 p.m.
American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 320 N.15th in Corsicana, Texas.
Navarro County NAACP presents the Fifth Annual Freedom Fund Banquet, 1114 E. Sixth Ave., Corsicana at 7 p.m. at the MLK Center. The theme is “Your power, your vote, your decision.” Speaker will be Dr. Jamal Randy Allen Rasheed, Ph.D. The branch will also be honoring Mr. Leonard and Glynda Dixon, and two special families of the community. Tickets are $20. Dinner will be served.
A one day Driver Safety Program will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Navarro Regional Hospital located at 3210 W. Highway 22 in Corsicana. The refresher course is designed for drivers 50 years of age and older, but is open to anyone. The cost of the course is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members. All veterans and their spouses can take the course free. Attendees may qualify for reductions in auto-mobile insurance premiums for three years upon completion of the course. When Are We Going Home Ministry’s Riding High Horsemanship program will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Break N Free camp at 4719 NE CR 1040 in Rice. This is a free riding program for medically challenged, disabled and special needs children 0-21 and their immediate siblings. Lunch is included. Volunteers are available for front and side walking as well as a ramp for wheelchairs. Please RSVP for lunch to email@example.com.
