Back to School/Stay in School Rally will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at IOOF Event Center, corner of 45th St. and Second Ave. Family members, students, youth of all ages, community members and educators are welcome to come meet CISD Administrators, principals and teachers. There wil be vendor booths, giveaways, games, activities and more. Busses will arrive at 8 a.m. at Bowie, Carroll, Drane, Navarro, Sam Houston, Fannin, Travis and the Northwest Apartments to pick up adults and students, and will return them to the school site after 12 noon. The Corsicana Art League will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. after a two-month summer break. Come to the Senior Activity Center at 919 West Park Ave, bring your favorite recipe prepared and enjoy potluck with friends. Drinks and bread will be provided.
Navarro County Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance meets at 6 p.m. each Tuesday, in the St. John’s Episcopal Church Annex, 417 W. Collin St., Corsicana. All are welcome to learn to give and receive support at the weekly meetings.
