The Navarro College Adult Education Program has cancelled all February and March Orientation and Registration Workshops for GED and ESL classes. Kerens Friends of Youth will hold its dinner/auction fundraiser at the KESA Building in downtown Kerens. Silent auction begins at 5:30 p.m., with meal starting at 6 p.m. Live auction will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $10 each, children age 5 to 18 are $5, and kids 4 and under are free. All proceeds go to the Kerens Friends of Youth for Navarro County Youth Expo projects.
The American Legion Post 22 at 632 N. Beaton St. will hold its regular meeting at the Post at 1:30 p.m. All members are urged to attend and participate in the business discussions.
The Kinsloe House will have First Sunday Lunch of the new year on Feb. 3, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The First Sunday Luncheon is open to the public.
