Through Nov. 18

The Warehouse Living Arts Center Theatre will present the final show of the 2012 season with the opening of Jerry Herman’s MAME.  The large cast with Cristin Denbow in the title role is directed by David Timmerman and assisted  by Todd Jones. MAME, based on the novel by Patrick Dennis and the play “Auntie Mame” by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, will delight and entertain audiences with the captivating story and music.  Show dates are: Nov. 15-16 & 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. The show will be presented at the Palace Theatre at 112 W 6th Avenue. Tickets are now on sale at the Warehouse Living Arts Center which is located at 119 West Sixth Avenue across from the post office.  Season ticket guest discounts apply if the tickets are paid for in advance at the WLAC. Nov. 17

Martin Luther King Jr. Center presents an Arts and Crafts Fair from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will feature jewelry, children’s storybooks, hats, purses, scarves, decorative T-shirts, clothing, canned goods, and much more. There will be food and drinks available. The MLK Center is located at 1114 E. Sixth Ave., please contact E. Burrell at (903) 874-2821 for an application or more information.

Angles of Corsicana Troop Support will meet at 9 a.m. at the Angel Room, 1020 N. Bus. 45, and welcome all ages to come pack. This packing is for Thanksgiving boxes to fill for the troops. There wil be a request for volunteers to sign up to run the lines for the Christmas packing to be held Dec. 1 at the Fellowship Hall across from Navarro College. The new schedule of events will be available at the packing. Anyone with a name of a deployed soldier, please bring to the packing. For more information, call Jean O’Connor at (903) 851-2560.
