Corsicana — When Are We Going Home Ministry will hold Rising Star Creative Ministry at New Beginnings Family Fellowship in Blooming Grove at 6 p.m. It will be the annual Kite Flying event. All events are free and open to children with medical challenges, disabilities and special needs and their immediate siblings. www.whenarewegoinghome.com.

Navarro County Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance meets at 6 p.m. each Tuesday, in the fellowship hall at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 101 N. 14th St., Corsicana.  All are welcome to learn to give and receive support at the weekly meetings. On the first Tuesday of the month, Dr. Tom Sheriff, licensed psychologist, joins the group discussions on various aspects of mental health. Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1009 will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Sirloin Stockade, 2508 W. Seventh Ave, Corsicana. Membership is open to U.S. armed forces veterans who served on active duty (for other than training purposes) in the Republic of Vietnam between Feb. 28, 1961 and May 7, 1975, or in ANY duty location between Aug. 5, 1964 and May 7, 1975. The veteran must submit a copy of his/her DD Form 214 along with the application and dues. Members and guest are invited to come early and eat and visit prior to the meeting.

The Corsicana Emergency Corps., located at 416 South 12th Street in Corsicana, will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting at 7 p.m.  The general public is invited to attend.  Monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.  For further information, please call (903) 872-5072.

Navarro County Branch of NAACP will hold its regular meeting on March 12, 2013 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center, 1114 East Sixth Ave., Corsicana. The Executives meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the General meeting will start at 7 p.m. All members are asked to attend. Your participation is critical to the success of NAACP.

The NAACP holds its regular meetings the second Tuesday of each month.
