Navarro's season ends with loss to Wharton

— The Navarro Bulldogs hopes of a Region XIV championship were cut short Monday at Northeast College in Mount Pleasant.
The Bulldogs suffered their second loss of the tournament, falling to Wharton 5-4.
Navarro (47-11) won its first game of the tournament, 10-0 over Blinn College before losing 10-6 to Alvin Sunday night.
