Vasquez honored by media

— Tigers’ alum Louis Vasquez was honored by the Big 12 media as the lineman was named to the preseason All-Big 12 first-team.
A senior offensive guard at Texas Tech, Vasquez was an all-conference selection last season, allowing no sacks on an offensive line that allowed just 18 sacks on 763 pass attempts.
Vasquez was placed on the Outland Trophy, given to nation’s top interior lineman, watch list for the 2008 season.
