The Coyote Squadron of the Commemorative Air Force invites you to the dedication ceremony for the Tucker Hardgrave Hangar at 11 a.m. at the Corsicana Municipal Airport. Norris H. “Tucker” Hardgrave was a well-loved Navarro County native who was also a respected and honored veteran of World War II. He was a U.S. Air Force pilot with the 500th Bomb Squadron flying the B-29. He received the Silver Star, the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal. The Coyote Squadron invites you to join in the ceremonies to dedicate its hangar to Hardgrave and also invite you to a lunch served immediately afterwards.

Warehouse Living Arts Center Theatre, 119 W. Sixth Ave., will hold auditions for the comedy production “Nuptials” by Judy Simpson Cook at 6:30 p.m. The cast calls for five adult men and five adult women ranging in ages from late teens through 60s. VOICE will offer the Texas Youth Tobacco Awareness Program, a state-approved program for minors charged with attempted purchase, consumption, or possession of tobacco and is designed to the mandates of Texas law. VOICE staff is certified to facilitate this program. The class will be an eight-hour program divided into four two-hour sessions. Classes will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. April 22, 24, 29 and May 1. The second chance prom, sponsored by Gowns Galore, will be held from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. at The Cook Center on the Navarro College campus, benefiting the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. The black-tie formal event will be for people who didn’t go their high school prom, for those who would like to go a prom again, and for those who just like to dress up and have fun.
