Celebrate, remember, fight back

The 2008 Relay for Life, a fund-raising effort for the American Cancer Society, kicked off at 7 p.m. Friday at Community Park. Above, the ‘team’ lap featured all members of the nearly two-dozen teams signed up to participate in the evening/overnight walk to raise money. At left, luminarias circle the track through Community Park, placed in honor of those who have found the battle with cancer. A complete look at the Relay for Life with more pictures will appear in the Sunday edition of the Corsicana Daily Sun.
