Lone Star Cowboy Church of Navarro County invites you to join in at 8:30 a.m. each Sunday for worship service at the Navarro County Exposition Center, 4021 W. State Highway 22. The first service in the new location will be at 10 a.m. July 20. The new church address is 4495 W. Highway 22, and is located one mile west of the Expo Center. A hamburger lunch will follow morning worship. A Lil Wrangers Rodeo will begin at 12:30 p.m. with mutton busting and stick horse races. Other activities include music provided by our worship band, hay rides and water wars. The public is invited to join the festivities.

Love Chapel Baptist Church at 400 North Benton St. will observe Youth Day this Sunday. Sunday School will begin at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m. Service will continue at 3:30 p.m. The theme for this occasion is “Disciples for Christ” from the scripture Galations 2:20. Beginning at 6 p.m. July 4, a cookout will be held at the church. The church will provide meat and buns. Bring the “fixins” for hamburgers and hot dogs, chips, dips, drinks, dessert, lawn chairs and outdoor games of your choice. Men’s Community Prayer Breakfast meets at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday in the Lone Star Room of the Walker Dining Hall on the Navarro College campus. This meeting is open to all men in the community.
