Chamber to hold member reception

— The Corsicana/Navarro County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Member Reception at 6 pm. Oct. 16 at the Cook Center at Navarro College.
Event chair Janet Martin told chamber board members the event will feature both a silent and live auction. The event is an annual fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce.
Letters will be going out to chamber members about the event, and will include opportunities to donate to the auction, be an event sponsor, and purchase tickets to the evening.
The chamber board also appointed a committee Thursday to nominate new prospective chamber board members. Several vacancies on the board will be filled through a nomination and election process.
