Dec. 2
Believers Bible Church: The youth of Believers Bible Church, 2400 Bowie Drive, Corsicana, will be wrapping Christmas gifts from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop by your packages to be wrapped and wait for them or pick them up later. Donations will be accepted. For more information, call (903) 872-7481.
Blooming Grove Christmas parade: Blooming Grove Christmas parade will be held at 10:30 a.m. in downtown Blooming Grove. For more information, call (903) 695-0236.
Corsicana Opry: Corsicana Opry will have a free Christmas music concert at 4 p.m. at Martin’s Music Hall, 201 S. Beaton St., Corsicana, spotlighting Ira Bradford and Bustin’ Loose, and New Life Band. Festival of Lights: The annual Festival of Lights parade will be held at 6 p.m. in downtown Corsicana, followed by the lighting of Community Park. Jingle Bell Jog: The 14th annual Jingle Bell Jog, a 5K and 1 mile fun run, will be held at 9 a.m. at the Corsicana YMCA, 400 Oaklawn Drive, Corsicana. Early registration cost will be $12 for individuals and $20 for families. Race day registration, which will begin at 8 a.m., will be $15 for individuals and $25 for families. Kerens Ex-Students Association: Santa will be in Kerens at the Kerens Alumni Center, sponsored by the Kerens Ex-Students Association. Come and have Santa’s favorite breakfast with your friends. Pancakes, sausage, orange and coffee will be served from 7 to 10 a.m. Cost of the breakfast will be $5. After breakfast, there will be movies and visits with Santa for the kids.
Navarro County Animals at Risk: Navarro County Animals at Risk will have pet pictures with Mr. and Mrs. Santa Paws from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gander Mountain, Interstate 45 and U.S. Highway 287, Corsicana. Bring your pets and come for some great photos.

Blooming Grove Holiday Tour of Homes: Blooming Grove Historical Society will have its second annual Holiday Tour of Homes from 2 to 6 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance at Communities in Action Library, 301 S. Fordyce, Blooming Grove, or $15 on the day of the tour. The tour will include the homes of Charlie Boyd, Josh and Cassidy Waldrip, Ted and Lauren Southard, Ricky and Diane McGraw, Bob and Bobbie McDowell, David and Darlene Haden, and Jim and Bobbie Simmons. First United Methodist Church: First United Methodist Church, 320 N. 15th St., Corsicana, will have its annual plum pudding festival along with a sandwich supper at 6 p.m. Santa Claus will also be making an appearance afterwards.
Kerens Garden Club: Kerens Garden Club will host its annual Christmas home tour from 2 to 5 p.m. featuring five homes at Richland-Chambers Reservoir. Directions from Kerens: From State Highway 31, go south on State Highway 309 for 7.2 miles to County Road SE3260 (veer right), which will turn into County Road SE3280 and go into the Chambers Point subdivision. Follow the signs. Tickets are $4. Advance tickets are available from garden club members. Tickets on the day of the tour will be available at the homes of Dick and Janet Martin, 506 Chambers Point Drive; Doris and Dalton Miller, 601 Sunset Point; Tom and Darcel Shelman, 603 Sunset Point; Dennis and Barbara Dvorak, 605 Sunset Point; and Mike and Diana Lester, 608 Sunset Point. Bowie Elementary School: Bowie Elementary School, 1800 Bowie Drive, Corsicana, will have an open house beginning at 5:30 p.m. Students will sell ornaments that they have made previously in their classrooms. Money collected from selling ornaments will be given for gifts for those in need. The fifth graders will perform a Christmas musical at 6:30 p.m.
Navarro College: Navarro College president’s holiday tea will be held at 5 p.m. at The Cook Center on the college campus in Corsicana. A free Christmas concert will follow at 7 p.m. in Dawson Auditorium, also on the college campus.

Collin St., Corsicana, on the Navarro College campus. There is no charge to attend, but donations will be accepted with proceeds going to the House of Refuge. Camp Fire USA Corsicana Council: Camp Fire USA Corsicana Council will present its home tour from 1 to 5 p.m. featuring five homes in Drane Estates off North 29th Street in Corsicana. Tours will be the York home, 2108 Arcady Lane; Watkins home, 2209 Arcady Lane; Nicholson home, 2109 Arcady Lane; Morrison home, 2105 Arcady Lane; and Dickerson home, 1205 Cumberland. Martin’s Music Hall: A southern gospel Christmas music concert will be held at 7 p.m. at Martin’s Music Hall, 201 S. Beaton St., Corsicana. The Christmas concert will spotlight Lee Gann Gospel Quartet, Brooke Adams, Kirsten Crum, Virginia Martin and Christi Driskell Self. Tickets are $10 and are available at The Ark, 204 N. Navarro County Toy Run: Navarro County Toy Run will be held with local bikers leaving the Lucky Lady Truck Stop, Interstate 45 and Farm-to-Market Road 1603, at noon. The group will then proceed to Corsicana to the American Legion Post 22, 632 N. Beaton St. Entry fee is one child’s toy and one canned good or $10 cash donation. Proceeds will be donated to The Arrow Project in Corsicana, a local non-profit Christian adoption agency, and the Navarro County Food Pantry. DJ “Slicky D” will provide entertainment. The toy run welcomes any motorcycle riders who would like to participate in this event. Donations may be dropped off at the American Legion Post after 2 p.m. daily. Many performances will be held under the Dawson Garden Club’s new pavilion including choirs, solos, gospel music, etc. Please bring canned goods for a yuletide food drive. This will be a family-oriented event and will feature the story of the birth of Christ. The park will be decorated. Please bring lawn chairs for seating.
