House of Refuge will hold its fifth annual fundraising concert at First Baptist Church sanctuary. The concert “Glorious” will begin at 7 p.m. Todd Jones will serve as emcee for the fifth time. Wes and Liz Haefs will return with an old favorite performance, joined by Billy Elias; Crystal Trevino; Shellie Buckley, Shellie O’Neal and the Fine Arts Dept. of Navarro College; Hispanic Fellowship Praise Team; First Baptist Church Choir; Navarro College Students performing song in American Sign Language; Taylor Parks; Lydia Bailey, Todd Jones and Wayne Owen; Grace Worship Team; and Ruined and Redeemed from First Baptist Church, Kerens. This is the one big fundraiser the House of Refuge does each year. Please come out and hear great music and support a wonderful cause.

The Dresden Cemetery Association will hold its annual meeting Saturday, May 4. The meeting begins with a memorial service at the Dresden Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Following will be a covered dish lunch at 12 noon and a business meeting at 1 p.m. Your attendance is encouraged and appreciated.
