    An armed man who tried to rob an employee outside the offices of Angels at Home, a home-health care company in the 600 block of Second Avenue near downtown Corsicana is being sought by police Wednesday afternoon.
    As of 4:15 p.m., they hadn’t found him, according to Police Chief Randy Bratton.

  • Jenkins returns home

    Sandy Jenkins, who has been accused of stealing almost $17 million from the Collin Street Bakery before being fired as controller of the company, came home to Corsicana Monday afternoon. He broke into his own home on West Third Avenue, a necessity since the FBI had changed the locks on the doors.

  • Fan drive to benefit seniors

    Hospice and home health care companies are doing a fan drive for the elderly in Navarro County from Aug. 1 to 5.
    “We’re getting all of Navarro County involved in this,” said Laura Tesmer, with Cedar Lake Home Health and Hospice in Corsicana.
