Mary Jackson Ingram, 98, passed this life on to glory on Thursday, June 11, 2009, in the bosom of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born Oct. 12, 1910, in Gilmer to Sam Morgan and Marcia Anne Henderson. She was a faithful servant of the Church Of The Living God P.G.T. for over 70 years, having been a faithful usher board servant for 73 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory: five sons, Samuel Holt of Houston, Curly Holt of Corsicana, Ossie Jackson (Anita) of Saginaw, Mich., Robert Jackson (Caroline), and Joe Jackson, all of Long Beach, Calif.; and two devoted daughters, Katie Lee Hall of Dallas and Fannie Mae Rudd of Los Angeles, Calif. She also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by children, Felix Bledsoe, Hosie Jackson, Littleton “Woosie” Jackson, Jessie C. Jackson, Simon Holt Jr., and Marie Jackson Stewart.
Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, at Ross and Johnson Mortuary.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, at Ross and Johnson Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be held at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Rainey, Vincent Ross, Stephen Ross, Coleby Jackson, Ray Anderson Jr. and Travis Horn. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Holt, Curly Holt, Maxie Chapman, David Bledsoe, Robert Jackson and Joe Jackson.
