Victoria Lynn Marie Gontscharow

Victoria Lynn Marie Gontscharow, 9, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2009, at Fort Lewis, Wash., following an 18-month battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 21, 2000, at Fort Irwin, Calif., to U.S. Army Spc. Thomas Gontscharow of Kenosha, Wis., and Jennifer Kilger Gontscharow of Corsicana.
She is survived by her parents and her sisters, Anna and Sophia. Also surviving her are her grandparents, Paul and Barbara Kilger of Corsicana; her great-grandfather, Fred Hayes of Corsicana; and her uncles, Donald and Stephen Kilger and their families; and numerous great-aunts and great-uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at First Baptist Church Chapel, located at the corner of West Collin and North 14th streets.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any of the following organizations that provided so much support in the time preceding Vicky’s death: the Ronald McDonald House, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the American Cancer Society, or Alex’s Lemonade Stand (for childhood cancer research). ∞
