Mary Massey Robinson

Mary Massey Robinson, 82, went to be with her heavenly family on Sunday Aug. 16, 2009, in Corsicana. She was born Mary Crystal Massey on March 21, 1927, in Winkler. She was the middle child of seven children.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Thomas Massey; mother, Letha Brunson Massey Davis; husband, A.O. (Curley) Robinson; daughter, Cathy Marie Robinson; and son, Jerry Ellis (Dick) Robinson.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Kemp of Corsicana; daughter, Ann Stewart and husband Ronald of Corsicana; son, John Robinson and wife Diana of Retreat. She is also survived by brothers H.L. Massey and wife Margie of Lubbock, Roy Massey and wife Rosie of Corpus Christi, Harold Massey and wife Gynn of Fairfield, Johnny B. Massey and wife Janice of Wortham; sisters, Mable Anderson of Canyon, Freddie Finley and husband Whiz of Corsicana; daughter-in-law, Debbie Robinson of Retreat; nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 12 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews; and 11 great great nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Bro. Floyd Petersen officiating. Interment will follow at St. Elmo Cemetery in Winkler.

Pallbearers will be Ronald W. Stewart, Michael Robinson, Jerry Robinson, Lanny Finley.
