Andy Anderson
Andy Anderson, 64, of Blooming Grove passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, in Corsicana. He was born on July 20, 1944, in Concordia, Kan.
Mr. Anderson was raised in the Methodist church. He worked for Dairy Queen for 36 years. He loved to fish and hunt in his free time.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Todd Peavy officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roselawn Memorial Park in Seagoville.
Pallbearers will be Mike Cole, Dean Ford, Cecil Ford, Derwin Ford, Bobby Scott and Joe Scott.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Mary Anderson; brothers, Floyd Anderson Jr. and Richard Anderson; and sisters, Florence Basart, Barbara Jean Anderson and Dorothy Betzner.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Bobbie Anderson; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Jean and Billy Allred of Kemp; sons and daughters-in-law, Damon and Krystal Shirley of Blooming Grove, Derwin Ford of Blooming Grove, Dean and Sheila Ford of Fort Worth, and Cecil Ford of Blooming Grove; grandchildren, DJ Shirley, Alicia Shirley, Johnathan Shirley, Kristina Shirley, Camri Tidwell, Nichol Ford, Christopher Ford, Samuel Ford, Hunter Ford, Whitney Ford and Jamie Ford; seven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Norma Jean Anderson of Russell, Kan., Roy and Kay Anderson of Concordia, Kan., and Elton and Rose Anderson of Concordia, Kan., sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances and Bill Hall of Wichita, Kan., and Virginia and Jack Moss of Glasco, Kan.; sister-in-law, Darlene Anderson of Great Bend, Kan.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and his DQ family.
