Bob ‘PaPa’ Kuykendall

Mr. Bob “PaPa” Kuykendall, 70, of Corsicana passed away on Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 in Corsicana.

He was born on September 25, 1938 in England, Arkansas. He was a member of Roane Baptist Church. He loved to play golf, and watch the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Rangers.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Harold Scott officiating.

Mr. Kuykendall was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elsie Lee Kuykendall; and a brother, Billy Kuykendall.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ardell Kuykendall of Corsicana; daughter Tina Whitfield Coulston and husband Jeffrey of Eureka; daughter, Reana Whitfield Williams and fiancé David Anderson of Corsicana; daughter, Tonya Whitfield Thomas and husband Rodney of Hattiesburg, Miss.; son, Lynn Kuykendall and wife Amalia of Arizona; grandsons, Benjamin and Zachary Coulston of Eureka; Chase Whitfield and Jeremy Williams, both of Corsicana; granddaughters, Breana Williams of Corsicana and Tori Lynn Thomas of Hattiesburg, Miss.; a great grandson on the way; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Bessie Kuykendall of Phoenix, Ariz. and Don and Cindy Kuykendall of Bakersfield, Calif.; sisters-in-law and husbands, Violet and Collin Bumpers of Dawson; Anita and Don Raley of Dawson; and Linda Plant of Corsicana; brother-in-law and wife, Richard and Twila Plant of Royce City; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
