Dorothy M. Tally

Graveside service for Dorothy M. Tally of Tyler will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Resthaven Memorial Park in Corsicana with the Rev. Richard Luna officiating.

Mrs. Tally passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009, in Tyler. She was born on Jan. 4, 1926, in Roane to the late W. Roy and Opal McClintock. She married Glenn W. Tally on April 14, 1950, and they had been married for 59 years. She had lived in Tyler since 1972 and was a member of Pollard United Methodist Church. She retired from the United States Government after 30 years of service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her paternal grandparents who raised her from an infant.

She is survived by a loving husband, Glenn W. Tally of Tyler; sister, Sue Collie of Dallas; brother, Charles R. McClintock of Garland; special aunt, Muriel Brewster of Arlington; special uncle, J.W. McClintock of Oklahoma City; and several nieces and nephews.
