Frankie Lavone Garza, 68, passed away in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.
Frankie was born in Corsicana, Texas on Dec. 29, 1945 to Lonnie and Eulema (Blackburn) Coker. She grew up in the Corsicana area and graduated from Corsicana High School in 1963. She made her home in Corsicana and Barry.
She worked for Chattanooga Glass for many years and for Tom’s Food in the shipping departments. She enjoyed gardening and dancing.
She is preceded In death by her parents and two brothers.
She is survived by sons Jim Washington of West, Brad Washington of Barry and Joe Washington of Barry; one daughter, Shannon Avilla of Rice; five grandchildren and one brother, Hugh Allen Coker of Corsicana.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 in the J.E. Keever Mortuary of Ennis.
A Celebration of her life will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014 in the J.E. Keever Mortuary Chapel of Ennis.
