— Harriett Ann Albertson, 76, passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, in Corsicana. She was born Aug. 1, 1937, in Corsicana, to Stella and Lawrence M. Prine.

Harriett graduated from Richland High School, attended Navarro Junior College and then Baylor University School of Nursing to pursue a profession in Medical Technology. Her career included work at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Mexia State School, and Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana from which she later retired.

Harriett was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She married her husband Robert E. (Bob) Albertson on June 18, 1960, at the First United Methodist Church in Richland; they were married for just over 50 years.  She and her husband, Bob, were devoted leaders of the Navarro County 4-H Club of which their three daughters were members. They were both also strong supporters of the Mildred ISD athletics, where their daughters attended school. At her home in Richland, Harriett enjoyed gardening with her family, quilting, playing piano for her church and openly sharing her home with friends and family.

Harriett is preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Albertson, parents, Lawrence and Stella Prine, and her brothers James R. Prine and John M. Prine.  

She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Pat Cunningham of Richland, Jennifer and Chris Cofer of Corsicana, and Andrea and John Catanzaro of Galveston; grandsons Phillip Halcomb, Sean Cofer, Brenden Cofer, Ethan Cofer, Anthony Catanzaro, Vincent Catanzaro, and Noah Catanzaro; granddaughter Paige Cunningham; great-granddaughter Karsyn Shaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, in the Great Hall of the First United Methodist Church, 320 N. 15th Street, in Corsicana, Texas.
