Richard Arlen St. Clair

Richard Arlen St. Clair, 77,  was called home by his heavenly father on Sunday, March 24, 2013 after courageously fighting a lengthy illness. He was lovingly surrounded by his family at the time of his death.

He was born June 2, 1935 to Cecil Thomas St. Clair and Helen Ruth Christie St. Clair in Rankin, Texas.

He was a charter member of Westside Baptist Church and he loved the Lord deeply along with his family and friends. He invested years of service to the car business and passionately worked hard. He loved to play golf with his golf buddies and spent many hours at the coffee shop with his coffee drinking buddies. He also loved music and spent many hours playing on his guitars and piano along with playing with friends. He taught himself to play music and enjoyed showing his friends and family  how passionate he was about music. He shocked his kids by taking on his love for music. He was a wonderful father and he would do anything to make sure they were taken care of and loved. He was a man of full character and loved to laugh and make others laugh. He told many old stories and loved to relive out his memories. He was a witty man and loved his jokes. Also, he loved his cowboy hat, boots, and starched shirts. He spent many years pipelining with his step-father and visited many states. He operated heavy pipeline machinery.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Ruth Graves of Corsicana; his sons Richard Shea St. Clair and wife, Susan of Ennis, Lance St. Clair and wife, Tara of Corsicana; his daughters; Kim Thomas of Corsicana, Christie Petty and husband, Danny of Athens, Nancy Currie of Plano, and Danielle St. Clair of Edmond, Okla.
