Hetty Brown Graham, 90, of Corsicana passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at her residence in Corsicana.
She was born Aug. 19, 1923, in Purdon to parents, Benjamin Franklin and Sally Lou Kay Brown.
She was employed with the Corsicana State Home and retired from there after 31 years of service. She had a great love and a natural devotion for taking care of her family. She strived to make the world a better place, and was very loyal to her community. She lived what she believed and tried to lead by example to many. She and her husband attended the Wesley United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; and a nephew.
Survivors include her husband, Delroy Graham of Corsicana; sister, Oleta Saxton of Corsicana; two nieces; nine nephews; and numerous cousins. She also leaves behind the beloved family pet, Missy.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at Corley Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kevin Diggs officiating. Interment will follow in the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
