Robert “Bob” Lee, 89, of Gladewater, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013.
He was born on Jan. 5, 1924, in Corsicana. He was a retired instrument technician for Gulf Oil and an active member of the Gladewater First United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lera Lee; son, David Lee; and brothers, Hughland Lee and Denmond Lee.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Katye Lee of Gladewater; sons and daughter-in-law, Danny and Tina Lee of Longview, and Doug Lee of Potomac, Md.; three grandsons, Robert Lee, Colin Lee, and Christopher Lee; and one brother, George W. Lee of Longview.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Gladewater with the Rev. Wayne Flowers and the Rev. Dick Dobbins officiating. Interment will be in Gladewater Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Williams, Donald Williams, Larry Aaron, Jim Thompson, Craig Cartwright, Mike Morrison, Jerry Adams, and Ron Buckner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Edwards, Max Wakeland, James Walker, Mike Williams, and Jack Phillips.
