Bettye Jo Widener Oldham, 79, of Murchison passed away on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. She was born Jan. 5, 1934 in Corsicana to parents Johnson McKinley and Hester Gradie Widener.
She was a member of the Baptist church. She worked as a private caregiver for many years.
She was preceded in death by a son, Harry Dryman.
She is survived by her son, Joey Allen and wife Cynthia of Tyler; daughter, Robbie Vaughan and husband Ed of Murchison; daughter-in-law, Betty Grant Dryman of Tyler; granddaughters, Melody Neff and husband Brian of Fate, Emily Colbert and husband Devon of Rockwall, Destiny Seeton and husband Ross of Van, Taren Owens and husband Chris of Norman, Okla., Patricia Vaughan of Abilene, Lacey Dryman of Whitehouse, Kay Kay Banks of Tyler, and Talena Grant of Alabama; grandsons, Collin Hortman of Abilene, Chris Dryman and wife Heather of Whitehouse, and Douglas Grant and wife Gail of Noonday; 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013 at the Dawson Cemetery with Pastor Larry Robbins officiating.
Memorials contributions may be made to American cancer Society or to the Arthritis Foundation.
