Mrs. Dorothy Louise Holladay, 85, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday evening, May 21, 2013, at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana with her family by her side.
She was born June 2, 1927, in Blooming Grove.
She worked as a bookkeeper for 35 years at Watson Truck & Supply in Hobbs, N.M. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Holladay; mother, Edna Mae Basham; father, Henry Chaney; and sisters, Marie Yates and Betty Marshall.
Survivos include her son, Les Holladay and wife Michelle of Casper, Wyo.; grandson, Jason Holladay and wife Lisa of Chino Valley, Ariz.; sisters, Marsha Murphey of Corsicana and Carol Gatlin and husband the Rev. Steve of Houston; brother, James Basham of Corsicana; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013, at Corley Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Talbert and the Rev. Steve Gatlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bo Murphey, Tim Cofer, Nathan Murphey, David Marshall, Wesley Basham and Justin Warren.
