Audrey Faye Thompson Tolleson

Faye Tolleson, 85, of Corsicana, peacefully went to be with the Lord during her sleep early Saturday morning on April 12, 2014.

She was born on May 12, 1928, in Rice, to Curb and Bessie Myrtle Thompson. She lived in Rice until she moved to Corsicana in 1965. She worked at Ennis Business Forms for 39 years before retiring. Faye was a hard worker and had a love for animals, especially her dogs.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Curb and Bessie Thompson; husband, Johnnie C. Tolleson Sr.; brother J.C. Thompson; sisters, Bessie Marie Shivers, Rosa Tresp, and Gladys Houdek; son, Frank Wayne Clower; daughter, Donna Robinson; and grandson, Jeffrey Allen Jones.

Survivors include her son, Richard Clower and his wife Deborah; daughter, Diane Jones and her husband Clyde; and son, Johnnie Tolleson Jr., all of Corsicana; sisters, Catherine Nutt of Tyler, Helen Braddock of Arlington; and brother, Charlie Thompson and his wife Jackie, of Magnolia. Her grandchildren include Chad and Teresa Clower, Missey and Paul Wilson, Tony and Teresa Jones, Terry and Codie Jones, Cynthia and Aaron Johnson, Richelle Hall, Tiffany and Jessie Praytor, Haley Clower, Ricky and Joyce Morgan, Kimberly Saif, and Shane and Katie Tolleson. She was also blessed to have 33 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Corley Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Rice Cemetery in Rice with Mr. Clayton Smith officiating, and Faye’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
