Hope C. Selman, 52, of Corsicana passed away Monday, March 31, 2014, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. She was born July 13, 1961 in Corsicana to Joe Carmen and Esperanza Castillo.
Hope was a loving, caring mother and grandmother, and spent her life as a wonderful homemaker for her family. She loved country music and especially enjoyed being “Nana” to her four beautiful granddaughters.
Hope was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Elder and her husband, Kyle; her granddaughters: Jaylyn, Kalie, Khloe, and Natalie Elder; her siblings: Janie Rodriguez, Virginia Lozano, Terry Ey, Alice Hill, Pete Castillo, and Clay Castillo; and by Heidi’s father, James Selman.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Corley Funeral Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2014, at Corley Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Corley Funeral Home.
