— Claude Everett Bone, 101, of Barry passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at his residence in Barry. He was born in Purdon on Aug. 23, 1912 to Childre and Alma Bone.

He was a carpenter and contractor. He was a longtime member of Missionary Baptist Church in Corsicana, and was a friend to everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Mary Love Bone; daughter and son-in-law, Claudia and Robert Jack Fowler of Barry; grandsons, Tim Fowler of Houston and Brad Fowler and wife Shelly of Retreat; great-grandchildren, Adam, Brianna, Jeremy and Dylan Fowler, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2014 at the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery with the Rev. William Dollar officiating.

The family asks that in honor of his life that in lieu of flowers all memorial contributions be directed to Missionary Baptist Church, 409 S. 15th Street, Corsicana, Texas 75110 and in his memory a card be sent to someone to let them know you care.
