Maida Lynn Holloway Bryson, 62, of Longbranch, Texas, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 in her home after a two and one-half year battle with cancer. She was born on Dec. 21, 1951 to Mooney and Sug Holloway.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2014 at Paschal Funeral Home.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the Kerens First Baptist Church with Rev. Kathy Collier and Rev. Wes Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Kerens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mark Dixon, Ricky Grigsby, Chad McNeely, Matt Madden, R. D. Whitner and Brent Holloway. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Green, Tony Watson, Michael Berryhill, Scott Feagin, Pete Waldrip, Chuck Ratley and Danny Matthews.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Bryson; parents, Mooney and Sug Holloway; son, Billy “Tooter” Tramel and wife Kim; step-daughters, Rene Madden and husband Matt, Bobbie Bryson; granddaughter, Kendall Tramel; step-granddaughters, Brittany and Courtney Madden; brothers, Paul Holloway, Ricky Holloway and wife Ann; sister-in-law, Peggy Holloway; a number of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
Her spirited personality will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
