— Ronald Terry Miller, 81, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas following a brief illness. He was born Sept. 12, 1932 in Corsicana to W.P. (Bill) and Fleeta Miller.

Raised in Navarro, Texas, Ronnie graduated from Mildred High School. Due to his father's illness, Ronnie accompanied him to Tacoma, Washington where he was treated for several months.

Upon his return, he studied and earned his private pilot's license. He then met the love of his life Andra Nagy. After their marriage, he joined the United States Army where he served for two years in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He then returned to Navarro County where he joined his father in the oil and cattle business, later known as Miller Oil Company. He enjoyed helping support his community through his donation of land for the building of a Mildred church and the Navarro Airport. During the Downtown movement to encourage tourism, he donated an oil derrick from his family business. During their 60 years of marriage, Ronnie and Andra enjoyed traveling. Some of their trips included Europe, Canada, Ireland, Scotland and Alaska. He was a very loving and generous man, caring for his father during his lengthy illness for many years.

He is survived by his wife Andra, his son Mike Miller and wife Dana, daughter Rhonda Sherman and husband Bick, son Vic Miller and wife Susan, all of Corsicana.
