— Ida B. Beasley, 68, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at Navarro Regional Hospital in Corsicana.

It was a joyous day when Ida B. Beasley was born to John Williams and Nancy B. Williams on Jan. 23, 1945 in Corsicana.

Ida received her formal education at G.W. Jackson High School and professed her faith in Christ at an early age and united with Healing and Blessing Revival Center under the late Pastor Bobby Williams. She worked as a nurse. She later worked for Regal where she retired after 30 years of service. She will be remembered as a caring and loving mother and a friend to many. She fell in love and married Mr. Edker L. Beasley; they shared five children, three daughters and two sons.

 Preceding her in death are her husband Edker L. Beasley; daughter Deffie D. Radford; father Johnny Williams; mother Nancy B. Williams; sister Rebecca Martin; brothers Willie Williams and Johnny Williams Jr.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory daughters Wanda D.  Radford and Sherren R. Gipson (Alonzo Gipson) of Corsicana; two sons, Edgar L. Beasley (Chalotte Terry) of Dallas; Steven D. Radford (Alicia Radford) of Corsicana. Ida is also survived by brother J.D. Williams (Martha Brown) of Corsicana; great-grandchild Jamarion Radford; granddaughters Sahara N. Gipson, Jaida  Radford, and Chelsea Radford, all of Corsicana; grandsons Alonzo Gipson III, Steven Radford Jr., Micheal Radford, and Jolton Sims of Corsicana, and a host of other relatives and special friends.

 Wake Service will be 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at Ross and Johnson Mortuary Chapel.

Funeral Services are 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at  Greater Love Outreach Ministry located at 700 East Park Avenue with Bishop  Edgar L. Beasley officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ross and Johnson Mortuary.
