Ronnie Threet

Mr. Ronnie Threet, 57, of Corsicana, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at his residence in Corsicana.  

He was born Feb. 19, 1955, in Ennis to Charles Newton and Patsy Knott. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Ronnie was employed for many years as a driller in the oil field industry. In his spare time, he loved to fish and also spent several years coaching girls softball teams in Rice.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Newton Knott; and a brother, Robert Campbell.

Survivors include his mother, Patsy Knott of Corsicana; daughters, LeAnn, Julie, Chelsea, and Tracy; sons, Tyler and Austin; grandchildren, Hailee, Taylor, Tattum, Madison, Kaydence, and Landon; brothers, Billy Thomas and wife Valorie of Corsicana, and Charles Knott and wife Jaye of Corsicana; sister, Cindy Haywood and husband Harold of Lake Jackson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Corley Funeral Home.  

Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Floyd Petersen and the Rev. William Dollar officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery.  

Pallbearers are Josh Hill, Mike Simington, Charles Herrea, Jason Cox, John Mershone, Mickey McCain and Danny Newland.

Honorary Pallbearers were Bill Bridger and Randy Richards.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church at 1200 N. 13th, Corsicana, Texas 75110.
